Texacore stands for in-depth technical understanding and practice-oriented solutions in the field of high-strength protection systems. Our focus is on the development and optimization of protective components based on ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fibres (UHMW-PE) - especially for ballistic and blasting applications as well as for safety-related requirements in industry and construction.

With over 10 years of experience in the industry, we have successfully implemented numerous projects and established ourselves as a reliable partner in development, consulting and production. Since 2025, we have been operating under the name Texacore and have bundled our previous expertise into a corporate strategy clearly focused on security technologies.

Our solutions are based on years of experience in the fields of end ballistics, plastics processing and armor steel applications. The combination of theory and application allows us to penetrate even non-standardized problems on the material side. In addition to our expertise in the processing of UHMW-PE composites, we also have a high level of expertise in the processing and forming of armored steel.

Joining technologies for multilayer composites

Especially for hybrid systems such as steel-fiber composites or ceramic-fiber composites, we offer in-depth expertise in joining technology, interface behavior and manufacturing processes. This allows us to develop multilayer systems that are highly dynamically resilient and weight-optimized at the same time.

Experience in final ballistics and highly dynamic material behavior

Over many years, we have designed, tested and analyzed materials and systems for ballistic testing - also in close cooperation with testing institutes, authorities and industry partners. In order to keep our finger on the pulse and stay technologically up to date, we are in close contact with regional research institutions such as Fraunhofer Institutes, universities and colleges.
