Texacore is pleased to announce the successful certification of the TXC-0002.V04 product in accordance with VPAM PM, Version 3 (as of March 15, 2021), Protection Class PM 4.
With a weight per unit area of 5.5 kg/m² and a material thickness of 6.0 mm, TXC-0002.V04 meets the requirements for modern, lightweight protective solutions for vehicle and property protection. The successfully completed testing confirms the material’s reliable protective performance in accordance with the recognized VPAM testing criteria.
The tested UHMW-PE solution also met the requirements of the DIN EN 1522/23, FB4 standard.
TXC-0002.V04 is particularly well-suited for applications where a balance between protective performance, weight, installation space, and cost is critical. As such, the material offers an attractive solution for vehicle armor, maritime applications, and property protection applications.
